Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Community Programs to
enhance community engagement and volunteer support for its
open-source email and productivity app.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for community growth and
retention
Lead and mentor the Community team, facilitating volunteer
onboarding and contributions
Collaborate with internal teams to identify engagement
opportunities and organize community initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in building or managing technical
communities
At least 2 years of people management experience
Prior developer experience is strongly preferred
Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git or
Mercurial
Knowledge of inclusive practices for community building
