Shift: Day (4 10's) and weekend shift (3 12's)

Summary:
We are working with a prominent space exploration company seeking a
Mechanical Technician to provide hands-on technical support by
assisting with the design, testing, assembly, troubleshooting, and
modification of electro-mechanical systems. Responsibilities
include working with prototype mechanical systems, precision
components, hydraulics, pneumatics, and specialized test
equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, integrate, test, and troubleshoot cryogenic valves,
hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and mechanical components.
Perform component-level maintenance, inspection, and repair at both
intermediate and depot levels.
Assist engineers with design reviews, tooling development, test
hardware evaluation, and process improvements.
Follow, review, and provide feedback on work instructions, standard
operating procedures, and complex mechanical system
installations.
Work safely with chemical, high-pressure, and hazardous systems
while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools, and equipment
needed for assembly, testing, and maintenance.
Adapt to evolving roles in a fast-paced, high-expectation work
environment.
Contribute to continuous process improvement, operational
efficiency, and innovation.
Support overtime and extended hours for critical integration tasks
or test campaigns as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in aerospace, aircraft maintenance, R&D,
industrial, or defense-related fields.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and technical
troubleshooting abilities.
Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and operating lifting equipment
for heavier hardware.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and
technical manuals.
Physically able to climb ladders and stairs as needed for system
access.
Availability to work a Monday-Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
shift.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database/software systems
for reporting and documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate
effectively in a team environment.
Ability to build trust, maintain professionalism, and contribute to
a culture of inclusion.
