Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Technician to evaluate
insurance applications and assess associated risks.
Key Responsibilities
Review submissions, endorsements, inspections, and claims under the
guidance of underwriters
Identify and escalate underwriting risk issues outside of assigned
authority
Assist in processing policy changes and educating operations agents
on resources
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of prior insurance experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
High understanding of customer behavior and its impact on loss
propensity
Proficient in Google Suite or similar tools
Ability to obtain a license in personal lines insurance
