Service Technician - Refrigeration and HVAC
Seeking a skilled Service Technician to provide expert repair and maintenance services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Repair and overhaul equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices
  
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors and electric motors
  
• Provide preventative maintenance activities for customers, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies
  
• Process job tickets and work orders in a timely manner
  
• Provide training to new or less qualified technicians as needed
  
• Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicle in a safe manner
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical systems
    
  • Working knowledge of single systems, rack systems, display cases and walk-in boxes
    
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer controls
    
  • Good mechanical skills and communication skills
    
    
    Requirements
    
    • 
      
    • High school diploma or GED, course work at an accredited vocational technical or trade school
      
    • 3-6 years experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machine and gas furnace
      
    • Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience and supermarket stores
      
    • Passed Tech Skills level 5 with a 80% or better
      
    • Driver's license and CFC Certifications
