Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster - Workers'
Compensation to manage medical only and lost-time claims.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and establish action plans for managing medical and
indemnity benefits for claims
Conduct interviews and gather facts to make informed decisions on
claims outcomes
Collaborate with various stakeholders to manage claims costs and
promote timely return to work
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is
preferred
One year of experience in insurance, claims investigation, or
related fields, with a preference for workers' compensation claims
experience
Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Adjuster's License in
applicable states
Familiarity with best claims practices and applicable laws and
regulations
Basic understanding of cost-benefit evaluation related to claims
management
