      Position SummaryThe Physician for MIPS provides patient care at Yakima Valley Memorial (YVM). Works with clinical and administrative leadership to achieve the patient care, strategic, and business objectives.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESAssess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, updating patient records, and studying medical histories. Focuses on key areas of Quality, Safety, Patient and Provider Experience and Sustainability. Provide diagnostic, preventative, and therapeutic health services to patients and family members in the hospital and clinic. Evaluate and treat patients in consultation with collaboration of the primary attending physician. Follow through on cases to ensure effectiveness and alter the course of treatment as indicated. Other duties as assigned by the ENT Lead Physician.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD or DO) required. BC/BE Otolaryngology Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
      • License to practice medicine in Washington State required; current state medical license in good standing with medical board required.
      • Board certified (or eligible) or equivalent experience required.
